Dumpstering Building Materials II

Hell yeah. Now we're done playing games. I just got out of a dumpster on 23rd Street, and I owe somebody a thank you. Many beautiful half-sheets of plywood and other dimensional lumber are now weighing down my van pretty good. I easily got enough 3/4" T&G plywood and studs to complete a professional by-the-book subfloor. Throw in a fat bag of insulation from yesterday and things are looking pretty prosperous.

Chris,

I have been away from your journal for some weeks. I spent a pleasant time a couple days ago catching up on your words. That afternoon I was actually planning to go buy new lumber. Not a lot, but some. Without even trying, you convinced me to salvage instead. The fence will be fine, I will be happier. Thanks.

Enjoy,
