Shuffling around in the woods. Checking out some ruins. Thinking on how to put a roof over ruins. Small car with stick shift gets many books on some days.
Dogs chase free apples.
About 30 cents an ounce sounds right.
Wake up when the sun pokes your conscience. Click links. The car of books pays for hoagies++.

Hey, three-speed... I just spent some hours re-reading Jeff Armin's Trans Am page on CGOAB and I have always been fascinated by your rock-star guest appearance...he never quite got that he was encountering cycling royalty, although he did pay some small obeasience to your ability to leave late and arrive early...but whatever the case, I just wanted to check in and let you know that I am watching and also that I consider your now-wife to be a charming cartoonist and also, also, to say don't sweat the small stuff.
The gift of giving the benefit of doubt is really a secret of the Universe and a function that I know you to be fully capable of bestowing on those who need it most.
I'm definitely leaving Philadelphia when we can, but the departure may not be imminent. I sold that van I got. That's a different story - not a bad one, but either way we're getting something better. Kristin and my's apartment lease is up in March, and I'd like to wait until then to leave. (We might have a shorter escape before then.)
We're planning to travel and van around for six months to a year. I'm thinking we can work from the road and make plenty of money if we're not paying rent and utilities. It got pretty depressing there for awhile, but the future now looks bright indeed.
Nope, the tiny house is still down by the woods beside my folks' place. I haven't been motivated or active with trying to sell it. I don't know what to do about that. My folks would like to see it gone - they're not exactly hounding me about it though. It's easy to put off.
Want to make an offer? The price could be extremely fair...
Thanks but no, I'm a van dweller, 4+ years now. Actually that's how I found your blog way back when you were in fla keys. I was reading up on the van dwelling lifestyle & discovered your blog. Im also a cyclist so I enjoyed following along on your bike trips as well. Ray Annapolis Md.
Ray, Thanks for introducing yourself. Glad to have you on the list of people who do not want to deal with my tiny house.
Me and my girl are going on an extended travel, and when that happens, we should meet up. We'll be in vandwelling mode ourselves, and it's fun to run into other people in the same wheeled-boat.
I intend to start typing here again when the time gets closer. If I do that, and it looks like I'm in the neighborhood, then contact me. (Neighborhoods are +/- 500ish miles while in travel mode.)
This isn't exactly the place to converse about this, but I'm curious if you're in Naptown full time in a van, or if you often hit the road.
I'm in nap town full time, have loose plans to make a visit to J-Ville FL this winter.would like to meet you& wife if you travel thru . Good to hear you'll be blogging again soon. Ray
We're going past both of those places at some soon-future date unknown. Gotta visit the Keys. Crossing my fingers that we sold enough textbooks to pay back taxes and still get a decent van. Hope to meet up soon.
Probably not leaving for real until March. We are tying up many loose ends though - paid off all debt, sorta working on paying off back taxes, and we just got a huge van. More on the van soon. That demands a post.
We're heading in the right direction. The lease is up in March, and I want to be as unencumbered as possible when we leave. The idea is to float around some beautiful places for at least 6 months to a year. More on that too.
